Been on this game all week...going to it tonite..really think the wrong team favored...Having been to almost every home game for the Bobcats last yr you get a different perceptive sitting in row 3....I love Kasper the coach but not because he is a North Texas alum...he teaches fundamental basketball...great defensive coach even though last yr they slacked off..Bobcats have one big time player in Pearson...at 6'5 he plays everywhere but the post..can hit the open 3,drives to the basket,rebounds and passes...davis comes back at the gd after being out a year...Peacock is a big fd who is either off or on...his problem is when he's off he still plays like he's on...is active on the court though...Tre N is talented...can create his own shot,attacks the hoop and explosive...last year he was there pt gd..Kasper has moved him to the 2 -gd because they have a super frosh pt gd in Harrell..this kid id 5'9 and can play..Kasper all the years he won big at SFA before Tx St always had diminutive pt gds at 5'4,5'7,5.10 150 pounds and always kicked ass...this could be a game after watching this kid for 5 minutes and me saying..." that was a dumb play on my part...think Bobcats front line is there weakness...King their post player graduated..they have a few juco kids coming in a lot of the Sun teams won with their inside games...
AF is not a great team..they just won big over a small team..they did beat Tex last yr 65-57..they have some fds who I think could give the Bobcays trouble...Swan and Scottie are 6'7 and can score..their gds are big at 6'3 and 6'4...Van Solen is there best player at 6'7...on offense AF is bad last yr ranking 310th on offense...they have a few freshmen..think +6 is way to much esp Tx ST that is 1-10 ats at home...I had this line at AF -1 so I love getting the points...
but I could be sitting in row 3 tonite watching Harrell penetrate the AF defense and destroying it and saying " WTF was I thinking about... but think the Flyboys prevail and win outright by a few....back later with a few more games
