South Dak St -8 over West Illi ****
The jackrabbits have lost and not covered the last 2 games...they are always a strong pick for me..maybe I rate them a little to high...but think they should win by double digits W Illi has an air craft carrier in 7'0 Gilbeck..he has 51 blocked shots but is not an offensive threat..they have 3 gds that avg near double digits. they are pretty good in 3 FG%,rebounding and FT%..but lost by over 15-20 pts to N Illi,Indy Purdue,Neb and Creighton...the big weakness's are def3pt% and rebounding on the def bds...Jackrabbits are loaded with Baum who is one of the top players in the country avg 25 pts and 10 bds.. But Jenkins,Flatten and King are solid...if both teams bring their A game Jacks win on the rd by 15-20..maybe it was good Montana kicked there ass's last week...wake up call..In the Summitt conf Sd St has dominated ats the past few yrs..this is a league game..
LSU -17.5 over Ul Monroe ****
Line has now jumped to -18...UL has 2 players in Smith who is solid and one of my favorites in Munnings,,a 6'6 fd-gd..he is listed as weighing 200 pounds but last year I sat right behind him vs Tex St and he looked like maybe 170 pounds...skinny but fast...Ertel is the typical gd who has no moves to the basket but has a nice jump shot.. must be wide open...there problem is there post player Washington..at 6'8 he has no scoring presence at all...can rebound but can't score...
That is where LSU should dominate...inside the paint..they have freshmen Naz Ried who is 6'10,Williams 6'9 and Bibsby-Williams 6'11...Mays and Waters are solid gds that can score..They also have Smart a 6'4 .. Waters at 5'10 is tough to gd..Days is another scorer...LSU avgs 80 pts a game,FG%48,..they have played a tough schedule losing to Houston,Ok St and FSU in 3 ot's..they are 7-0 at home and won't take UL lightly...they will make some noise as the year progress's in the SEC.. LSU did knock off the undefeated Palladins the other nitr

Texas is 2-4 in last 6 games...one of the worst 3 pt shooting teams in the country..bad FT%...they should of beaten Prov the other day,,so inconsistent...no chemistry..have some talent and have size but who knows what team shows up...but UTA is realy bad...they lost everyone from last yr..have 8 losses already..if both teams bring their A game Texas should win by +25 easy...but Texas flips a coin to see what team shows up...will take the under 137.5 because UTA has no offense and think Shaka's team bring there B-1 game..
