SickDog- Yeah, Marshall put a damper on an otherwise decent day/night. Good luck today.

Snoozing- I think the Vols are in trouble tonight. Waiting to see if I can possibly get a little higher line with Tenn Tech. Slay is out of the Vols, as is Haislip. Starting three new players, new system with Petersen at as coach (which eventually will be a good thing, as Green was terrible)...Tech has a good backcourt, 4 starters returning from a 20 win team last season...were withing two points with under five minutes to go last season against the Vols..I think they hang with them tonight, possibly win outright.

Hoops, I agree. Think the Vols are giving up too many with a depleted team and facing a TT team with experience.

thanks for your O.

With both of you, I think Tenn Tech will be really ready for this game. This is straight out of the Tennessean Newspaper, in case u missed it:
---------------------------------
For the Vols, facing a motivated Tennessee Tech team is just the start of their concerns. Peterson expects to have just eight scholarship players tonight, and not all of those are healthy. Senior swingman Del Baker will be limited with a sprained ankle, and redshirt freshman center Brandon Crump hasn't been the same player since severely spraining his ankle a couple of weeks ago.
Junior forward Ron Slay won't play after being in a cast the last two weeks with a stress fracture, and junior center Marcus Haislip is academically ineligible this first semester.
Peterson said yesterday that he hopes to have Slay available against Marquette in the first round of the Great Alaska Shootout next week.
Three of the Vols' eight available players ? Elgrace Wilborn, Derek Stribling and Crump ? will be playing for the first time in a college game.
Peterson admits that it's been a more daunting project than he had imagined.
''A lot of the things I had in mind are completely turned around now,'' said Peterson, who will go with Jon Higgins at point guard and Thaydeus Holden at shooting guard. ''They're put on hold. I haven't been able to advance ourselves like I wanted to. I've had to hold up and simplify things a little bit more.''
That may be, but senior forward Vincent Yarbrough said the goals don't change.
''Everybody expects us to win (tonight),'' he said. ''We have the same expectations no matter if we're short-handed or if we have a lot of players. We're just going to come out and play hard and try to get the W.''

Agger.....
I'm with you on Tenn Tech, but I'm not touching that Stags game vs Harvard.
Also, give me New Canaan over Trumbull. LOL
Are you covering it tonight? I'll be there

Sorry for the total...teams combine to miss 24 free-throws...and that old football axiom, "they could call a foul on every play"..well, refs should have let these guys wear body armor..they weren't calling half the fouls committed. Get 'em next time...

Hoops please. There is absolutely no need for an apology from you for anything.

Glad to see your back from your "extended" leave...
