:scared

Updated 2007 MJ record (all plays): 13-9 (+4.45 gaming units)

regular plays: 10-8 (-.55 gaming units) Unacceptable to me

double plays: 3-0 (+6.0 gaming units)

2 team parleys: 0-1 (-1.0 gaming units)

I may lay off totals for a while. I lose every one by run and in the most frustrating ways possible:mj16:

On the plus side I have hit all of my double plays so far.

Off to cap. Be back later with some plays. I will say that a few games are jumping off the page at me, want to look into them further though before making a play. Happy Friday the 13th.

Taking Houston -103

Taking Houston -103

All numbers point to Houston

Roy Oswalt going for 100th career win

Oswalt (1-0, 1.08 ERA) tossed a five-hitter Saturday in Houston's 5-1 win over St. Louis.

Through two starts this year, Oswalt - a two-time 20-game winner - has allowed two runs and 10 hits in 16 2-3 innings. He gave up one run in 7 2-3 innings on April 2 in his season debut, but Houston lost 4-2 to Pittsburgh.

Oswalt has a good chance of earning the milestone victory Friday. He is 4-1 with a 1.38 ERA in six games - four starts - against Philadelphia, but has not faced the Phillies since winning twice in 2005.

Myers (0-1, 6.75) will be making his third start of the year. The right-hander allowed six runs and eight hits - six for extra bases - in 4 1-3 innings in Philadelphia's 8-5 loss to Florida on Saturday.

Though he's struggled so far this season, Myers is 2-1 with a 4.28 ERA in five career starts against Houston and won his only start against the Astros in 2006.

Roy is dissapointing me so far. 47 pitches and 3 Philly runs in the 1st inning alone, starting with 2 BB, all with 2 out. Not good.
