PITTSBURGH (AP) -- Jason Kendall's RBI single with two outs in the ninth inning capped a six-run rally and gave the Pittsburgh Pirates a 12-11 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Friday night.
Tike Redman hit a two-out, two-run triple off Adam Bernero (0-1) to tie it. Redman, called up earlier in the day from Triple-A Nashville to be Pittsburgh's new everyday center fielder, fouled off four two-strike pitches before lining a shot into the right-center gap.
Brian Giles hit his 13th homer for the Pirates. Todd Helton and Charles Johnson each hit a two-run shot for Colorado, which blew leads of 7-2 and 11-6.

fawking kendell does it again.....and no surprise, that piece of shit bernero.....kinda says something when EVEN detroit gets rid of him.....
i remember something eerily similar that happened to me 2 years ago, houston had like a damned 8-2 lead on them with two outs in the bottom of the ninth they clawed back and then someone on that god damn fawkin pirates team hit a grand slam and i lost 9-8.......??????
what did i do the next day....? i laid 4 units for houston the next day to kick the shit out of them and they did.
problem is, do you really wanna lay 4 units on colorado on the road this season.....????
