Now i am starting to second guess this a little...Mets definitely have the pitching edge in gm 1, but orlando hernandex has struggled against the phils this year Hamels goes in gm2.
The phils have been hot, and after a tough stretch for the mets, they seem to be getting hot agian. Maine in gm 2 has been solid 3-0 last 3.

Phils have the edge in the season series.

any thoughts anyone on which way to go??

Ornie, I am a big Mets fan but I like your wager. The Mets bench is not very deep right now. If they rest some starters in either game you're talking about Ricky Ledee, Ramon Castro, Carlos Gomez and Ruben Gotay possibly playing. If not, can Carlos Beltran's body keep it up for 2 games in one day, and can Paul LoDuca catch a doubleheader right now?? Plus Delgado is only hitting .225? right now and the bullpen is probably as bad as the Phillies' right now (overworked). So I don't think that either team will sweep unless the Mets can outslug the Phil's but they don't have the bench to do it right now.
