Raymond are you concerned about this number starting at 7 and now is at 4 on some books. I would to hear you opinion because in most cases the line move favors UAB. Why people are taking UAB I have no idea. Give me some feedback. Thanks.

Raymond --

I really like your Ivy card; Penn should probably be a best bet especially since you're from Philly!

Penn is coming off a loss at home to Columbia, and Princeton and Yale are sitting on top of the Ivy while Penn is #6 at 2-2.

The Big Five champs are going to take no prisoners tonight in New Haven.

one reason is revenge at home

one reason is revenge at home

tigers on sizzling 9-0 ats run at press time and shot equally blazing 55.5 percent from the field in manhandling the blazers by 21 last month hard to pick a spot where calipari's bunch will slip up. plus 15-5 ats this year. let the line fall i have memphis winning by 10 points here. plus memphis outscore their opp by 14 points. plus memphis 4-0 in conf road games

uab conf home games 1-3 avg score 69 give up 69 points
and 5-12 ats this year.

let say this, who would you put your money on?
memphis or uab. my smart money on memphis all the way,
the numbers are with the tigers$$$$$$

show me the money$$$$$$$$$$;)

Dartmouth is nowhere near as bad as Cornell, point guard Flinder Boyd is having his best season and he should be first team All-Ivy when it's all over. Boyd should add to his stats tonight as the only guy to stop him so far has been Harvard's Drew Gellert (twice).

Both teams are winless in the Ivy with identical 0-6 records; at least one of them will get a win tonight.

Six points should get Dartmouth the cover.

Damn Ray! So much for waiting till Saturday. . .

With you on Dartmouth. . . trying to figure out why the public is on Cornell and why Vegas set this line so high. Either way, I'll take the points.

Memphis line is scary as well. . . playing them both small. . . good luck with your parlay!

The public might remember the scare Cornell put into Yale in their Ivy opener or just think that in the Ivy the home team always wins. Or maybe everyone remembers my POD on 1/5/02 when I took Dartmouth +2 over Harvard and the Crimson won 88-57.

But if you look at the numbers:

- Cornell is 0-2 ATS at home

- Dartmouth has won their last six meetings with Cornell, three of these SU wins were in Ithaca. In those six wins, Dartmouth was 5-0-1 ATS.

That parlay looks solid to me.

Muzy,

If you think the Memphis line is a "trap" then so is the over! Total came out at 151. . . bet down to 148 yet the total for the first game these two played was 183. Looks TOOOO easy. . .

There is no such thing as a trap it is a figment of the betting publics imagination, bookmakers do not post a line to trap you they post a line they think they can get action on both sides with they don't care who wins or loses as long as they get equal action on both sides so they get the vig which is where they get there money. I guarantee you as long as the books get equal action on both sides of a game they are very happy, the line is adjusted for the money that is coming in on a game. Looks to me like there are allot of people on UAB which is fine by me since I have Memphis I bet it at 5 and if it keeps going down I will bet it again! Why you ask? Because my handicapping tells me they are the right side! I remember just the night before last I had Florida Int. at +11 the line jumped to +13 and if you look Fla Int covered very easy. I can give you all kinds of examples of line moves that used to scare me off a game earlier in my career that I would have won so I do not care if a line moves for no reason I will trust my capping and go from their now if I find an injury or some other reason that I think will affect my bet I will reavaluate my selection but I see no reason for the line change in the Memphis/UAB game so I am sticking with my original selection!

Robert is trying so hard to convince others there is no such thing as a trap. . . maybe they'll listen to you eventually!

My post above was not altogether true. . . Vegas released the total at 148, it was bet up to 151, now back to 148. . . just wanted to correct my mistake.

I am just trying to help I have been around this business for over 25 years and I have seen it all and I have seen line moves like this before and I have seen them go both ways. If you bet scared you are betting wrong, now I am not saying bet stupid but don't bet scared!
