Have not played college hoops since posting that great 1-4 day last Saturday.....been slumping lately and have burned 1/2 of my early season winnings.....ok, enough of the whining, lets get something going tonight:

St Joe -1, -115 over Siena......Siena enters a little banged up and will surely come out looking to bag an important win for their resume. We can compare these teams to how they played at the Carrier Dome vs Syracuse. Doing so, the teams look even, although Joe looked liked the better team back then. I like St. Joe, had high expectations for them this year, but a tough non conference slate has them with a so-so record. I think they get their season back on track and gain a lot of momentum for their conference season with a gutty, road win tonight against the best of the MAAC. In the end, Joes has too much up front.

St Peter +1, -105 over Fairfield.....nothing like a game with teams on a combined 11 game losing streak. I think both teams could surprise in the MAAC this year, however, despite their losing ways right now. The home team is 6-2-3 ATS and Fairfield is 1-5 as a road fav while Peter on a nice 6-1 run as a home dog.....Hey, Box in One, likes Peter and their edge in the back court. Enough for me.

Butler -1, -105 at SIU......close to a unranked fav and by backing Butler, I am bucking a very strong court edge that has seen the Salukis take down fellow mid majors powers St. Mary and Western Kentucky in recent weeks. But, I feel Butler is much better than both those foes and are closer in talent and ability to Indiana, who rolled SIU on this court at the beginning of the month. Bottom line, SIU has trouble scoring the basketball. Butler does not and their three point shooting tonight gets them by the Salukis this evening in Carbondale.

GLTA! :toast:
