To Win Outright:

Given the history of the finals I have played 5 "long shots":

1. Price at 17:1
2. Fasth at 19:1
3. Cook at 21:1 [he was originally 26:1 but I missed it]
4. Flesch at 21:1
5. Gogel at 23:1

Matches:

1. Furyk over Sutherland 2x
2. Calcavechia over Olazabal 1x
3. Cook over Faxon 2x
4. Gogel over Lehman 3x
5. Price over Estes 1x
6. Toms over Flesch 1x
7. McCarron over Garcia 2x

Lean to Zinger over Fasth, but Fasth is playing extremely well right now and has good odds. May look at Fasth as tee-time approaches as a "dog"

Good luck....IP

Trying to keep records for the forum recap at the end of the week, so ...

Didn't you go 15-1 yesterday as Price beat O'Malley?

Or did you go 14-2 yesterday because Toms was not a dog against Mediate?

Great job btw

Friday re-cap...

Friday re-cap...

What the gambling gods giveth, they shall also taketh away...

After an unprecedented Thursday [15-1], had a horrific Friday, as I failed to win any of the 5 plays to win the tournament outright. [0-5]

Of the 7 matches, only Toms and McCarron were winners...

Toms is the highest remaining seed at 6th.

Todays picks up later:

Upper half:
1. Estes [17] vs Zinger [25]
2. McCarron [45] vs. Lehman[28]

Lower half:
3. Faxon [47] vs. Ollie [26]
4. Sutherland [62] vs. Toms [6]

On Thursday, in the main thread, I suggested playing all 8 of the remaining 16 players with the highest odds...Of those 8, 4 still remain. One will be eliminated this morning as McCarron plays against Lehman...also remaining are Zinger and Sutherland at 21:1
