Last fall, I thought my understanding of soccer was bad because I just couldn't see why Juventus was so highly thought of when I saw Villa destroy them in a "full strength" friendly and couldn't understand why AC Milan was so highly touted when they seemed so slow and why the US and Ireland look to be the better side when they play the Italians (even though the US is always a man down). I don't get why people like the Azurri's chances (but to be fair, I thought they were bad in 2006, too).
Mexico didn't schedule this game to not go for it and I think their pace will put the Italians to the test and it seems like a fair price.
