Watching the VCU/St Bonny game. Some of you might be wondering what gives Riff? You don't watch this stuff. Since Covid, my numbers have been skewed and I decided that I needed to start looking into other intangibles. Pace, press, shot selection, coaching, etc. I usually wait until the conference championships, before watching games. Obviously, going into the tournament, wouldn't be wise to rely on stats alone. Since technology makes it easier to watch games anytime - anywhere, it is more about convenience which is fantastic.

Another thing. I used to travel to Reno when I wanted to make some larger wagers. It really isn't necessary anymore. Harvey's will take most of my plays at whatever number I want, which is fantastic. Online is very convenient, but when I can only make a $150 bet or $50 bet on a Prop bet..... It's simply not worth it. Jack has some great sponsors, but the limits at most of the books are not worth the effort.

With all that being said, this VCU game features 2 teams that could possibly find themselves in the tourney. Shot selection is very questionable and fast break looks like a Frosh girls team. Kids know what a lay up is anymore?

I have been remarkably impressed this season with free throw %. At least for the games I have been watching. Big guys and little, mid major and power conferences... Coaches appear to be finally getting it.
