When you shoot the middle on a play like this that was listed as strong, do you buy out of the whole play? Just curious as I would think you would like the play from the beginning at the line you received. You have a great spread to hit a middle on that one. Good luck and thanks for posting.

That's a good question.... It all really comes down to the health of your BR and if you can afford to lose the juice... The 5' point difference is a big middle, so I cant pass on the opportunity... It's really what you're comfortable with and yes, the Total that was put up originally was off considerably of my number.

I have stated before that I know guys that will try to hit the mid on 3 point differences, but for me if is >4+.....Yes, I believe the Over will hit but the opp is just too juicy... Hope I've answered your question 🤔. Have a nice day.

another option....

I played over 126.5 last night.... to win 250

and then this afternoon I played PARLAY: under 133.5/ and "open" for 77/193....
only risking the 77, but possibility for almost 200 payoff (if/when it wins, I'll pair it with a "strong" play from tomorrow

also playing the "over 125.5" in parlay last night... w/one "open" spot... 273 to win 590

might seem a bit convoluted, but I've got 9 parlays w/1 spot open... 2 more w/2 spots open
hoping for a game that lines up as a great possible "middle"...

It seems over the last few wks (and I haven't been keeping stats by any means), that when a total moves 5 pts or so, it has a tendency to go that way... but who knows?

to expound just a lil bit...

1st) I can't parlay and added or 'extra' games... so my only option is a "straight" play

2nd) I hate paying the juice when buying a pt or two... laying 150 sucks!!

3rd) parlay options at my place are limited somewhat... can only buy pts on 3 tm parlay or less

so...
I usually play the "strong" totals straight, and also open a 2-tm parlay (or 3tm), and buy 2 pts in the parlay... if it loses it loses, but if it wins, they pile up...
this wk, I'm around neutral on all the straight plays.. but I've got 11 parlays built up (and it looks like another good one tonite w/Harv Over/"open"

tomorrow, I'll look for a game that I can use ml on 1 side... and buy a pt or 2 on the other side and shoot for a middle!

I've currently got 11 parlays w/1 spot open (and I can buy up to 2 pts in every one or none of em)...

total at risk is 1991/5845... so if I just bet ml on 1 side w/half the plays and plus pts w/the other half, I should come out w/at least 1800-2000

like i said... it's just a diff way to play it

okay... here's what we have going for the late gm!

Hey Diddle-Diddle ~ Lordy's goin for a middle! :0corn

Par #1) W/W/ Troy +12.5 > 173/627 (had Harvahd "over" w/Davdsn "over" -- bought 2 pts on all of em)

Par #2) W/W/ Ga Southern -7.5 > 173/650 (prev wins from the last few days)

=======================
The Breakdown:

IF Ga Southern wins by 13 or more.... I win $477

IF Ga Southern wins by 8-12 .... I win $1277 << "da Middle"

IF Ga So wins by 7 or less.... I win $454
IF Troy upsets em outright.... I win $454

so that's a perfect example of shooting for a middle.. time will tell, but either way, I don't lose :0008

Enjoy the games! I know I will :D

You make some very salient points LoB..... I love open parlays...... Have a few going strong right now.. Hopefully will find a gem or two tomorrow to close a few up...

Princeton game going way over, but thats OK.... Actually have the Over in a couple of large parlays that we were just talking about... Have a great night... Gotta get back to work.. These Long Cards (Sat) are a killer...
