the problem with Simmons is his arrogance. All he thinks he has to is show up. Never would I take that arrogant kid in the fist round of the draft. he is staed while laughing that no one could stop him and no one was better than him. gess kid grow up.
LOL... U guys can't be serious! I understand the emotion and frustration of losing a bet, but to trash Simmons is insane. He was the best high school player in the country as a junior, and will be THE FIRST PICK in the NBA Draft, guaranteed. He has a skill set for a player of his size rarely seen. He can guard virtually any position on the floor, has incredible court vision, and is ambidextrous around the basket. He has always been a high impact player, and that won't change when he is the first overall player in the NBA. Now on the other hand feel free to trash Johnny Jones. He is an empty suit on that bench.

Johnny Jones the worst ....I have been saying that since the day North Texas hired him.. he can recruit...he had a lot of talent at North Texas and that got him the LSU job...but his bench coaching and his discipline were rock bottom...no one wanted to take the ball out because they never got it back...it was run and gun and shoot when ever...players didn't run his plays...oops he had none...no screens,kickouts,motion...never had a weak side rebounder in the right position..... I actually e-mailed him after watching a Ark St -North Texas game... I counted 6 shots from the wing where there was no weak side rebounder....never returned my e-mail...let me stop.. Jones will get fired soon.....

WOA guys Simmons is a stud plain and simple and will be a stud in the NBA probably going number 1 but LSU just didn't show up for the game and if Im not mistaken that was the lowest score posted by a team in the history of that Conference playoff. Bad showing for sure
no body has denied his ability. But he is pure conceited and arrogant to the point it hurt his team all year. if he had the heart of Stefon Moody he could be all world and Lsu would be in the big dance.
How do guys like Jones keep getting hired? Not even convinced Jones is a great recruiter... Simmons is at LSU because his godfather is the asst Coach... Blakeney was Simmons' teammate on the AAU circuit with E1T1 so reasonable he would follow Ben...

Jones is a moron and yes I was frustrated with the loss from the opening tip for sure! BUT.....Simmons entitlement that he feels better change because he will get dominated in the NBA with that attitude. He also needs to learn to avoid stupid fouls because he does his team no good on the bench, which is where he finds himself quite a bit. He also disappears in big games. Playing the "best 5 teams" on their schedule this year he only averaged 14.5 / 8.5/ 3 which are all significantly down from season averages. Get he is young and has been the golden boy for 5-7 years in everyone's eyes but I'm still waiting for the 30/20 game where he dominates likes supposedly he's capable of.....vs someone other than North Fla Lol

Simmons is a stud. My biggest knock on him thought is I think he's too passive. I wish he were more aggressive.
