This week includes some absolutely dynamite games, and I am going to post them all as they come (still waiting for some totals). I think the strongest play for Saturday could be a 2nd half play...will keep you updated, just not sure if I will be around to post it (Texas plays at home this weekend).

(PREDICTED FINALS)

5 unit
Oregon -7.5
*I would play this game at -14+, so the hook doesn't scare me one bit.
(Oregon 38 Arizona 17)

1 unit
Iowa -9
(Iowa 35 Purdue 17)
Oregon State -4
(Oregon State 28 UCLA 17)
Texas Tech +6.5
(Texas A&M 24 Texas Tech 23)

Good luck to everyone,

MasterTX

MTX,

It's gonna look like I copied your card because I love those same games. :)

I think Oregon sticks it to them good also, taking that one BIG. Taking Tech just off principle...they've owned the ags for the last couple years and if they were to actually win in Pyle field I would be tickled pink.

So what 2nd half play were you referring to?

Felonious-

No reason to bash a fellow longhorn...YES, I am also the "Sports Ace." No cut and paste job here, but thanks for the kind words.

I have a few more plays lined up and I will let you know about the 2nd half play by tomorrow, no worries. Just don't hate.

OK so you're a tout over there but not over here. That makes sense. Pretty cool of you to try and scam your fellow Horns. As I recall, you approached that site not as a Horn but as a tout service giving your "Free Play" to take NCU over Texas and you were not welcomed. Honestly, I'm a little surprised you showed your face over there for a second time.

Bit of advice fellow Horn: Posers like yourself aren't usually welcomed at that site, if you haven't picked up on that yet. So try and keep the tout disguise to a minimum.

So I am a tout over there and not over here...why do you have to mix things up with that site? I have never once "touted" over here and there is no one here (but the few UT guys) that even visit that other site. No reason for you to call me out, but whatever floats your boat.

I am not in any ways trying to "scam" my fellow horns or anyone for that matter. I didn't think posting my plays this week, in an effort to help the few people who read my posts, was a "scam," but maybe I am wrong.

Didn't you say you "loved" my card for this week? Why not just leave it at that and talk sports?

I will take your advice and keep my tout disguise to a minimum over there though, would appreciate it if you contacted me directly next time if you have a problem, no hard feelings.

Texas Tech +6.5 @ Texas A&M

I think Texas Tech can definitely beat A&M outright, but if not, it will be a close game. The Aggies are having some problems at the QB spot and on the offensive side of the ball in general, whereas Tech is gaining more confidence and momentum with Hesiman hopeful Kliff Kingsbury running the show. Kingsbury is putting up 340+ yards in the air; that is more yardage than the entire A&M offense. There were high hopes for the Red Raiders this year, and they are improving offensively every game.

@ Oh St - 21 pts
@ SMU - 24
Ole Miss - 42
NC State - 48
@NM - 49

Obviously they will not have a field day against the Aggies at Kyle Field, but I think they will be able to exploit them for a few big plays here and there and put up at least 3 TD's. That being said...it's hard for me to see Texas A&M running away in this one. Yes, they will be able to move the ball up and down the field vs a very mediocre Tech D, but they lack the firepower that Mike Leach and his offense bring to the table. It could be a score for score trade off, and in the end, a field goal or extra point determines this game. This number is low because of one reason and one reason only: the Texas A&M defense. Don't be fooled...the college game is won on the other side of the ball. Take the points with the dog and I think you have a solid play. There is a reason this line is at +6.5 as opposed to +7, don't let it bother you.

Be careful with the Iowa game.... weather forecast says in the 60's and partly sunny.

Purdue will pass, pass, and pass. Iowa has a HORRIBLE pass defense.this will be a high scoring game I think.

Iowa run defense is great but Purdue doesnt care to run anyhow.Plus Iowa has shown that they give up big leads(iowa st,penn st)

Iowa's top two running backs are not 100%...

8.5 points is a lot for Iowa to be favored over a passing team like Purdue.

I lean toward the over in this one.

Novakht, I will try the -9 as it is only a 1 unit play. I just don't think I can find value in playing Purdue in this one.
