Good luck with that. For the past 5-6 years I've used echecks. Several times I said this is just way too easy.
Well I got my wish. They can no longer accept checks from my state. I will post below what they sent me.

We accept bank drafts (official bank cheques), cashier's cheques or international money orders in any amount from USD 100.00 to USD 2,500.00. Only US dollar payments can be accepted.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- We cannot accept traveller's checks, personal checks or cash.
- Payments must be negotiable in the United Kingdom.
- For security reasons, please do not include nonessential personal information such as your PokerStars User ID or your PokerStars password on your bank draft, cashier's check or international money order. Your full name and PokerStars UserID should be provided on a separate note.
- The payment sender must be the PokerStars account holder that will receive the credit. We will return payments that are sent from a sender different to that registered in your PokerStars account.
- Registered mail or courier should be used for forwarding. Regular mail should not be used as it cannot be tracked.
Once you have sent your payment, please send us an email at
paymentservices@pokerstars.com providing the date of the payment, the exact amount, the payment issuer and any tracking or reference number.
Upon receipt of your payment, you will be notified by email and the funds will be deposited into your PokerStars account.
