I just spent a few minutes chatting online with a representative from MATCHBOOK and they told me that there are now only three ways for U.S. citizens to fund and withdraw money from the MATCHBOOK account.

They are...moneybookers, bank wire, and solid pay. Have any of you used any of these methods? It would seem to me that the bank wire might not be processed if the U.S. banks are told not to let it happen. I understand MATCHBOOK is an "exchange" but in lite of what is happening to the off shore books, I'm wondering if its only a matter of time before MATCHBOOK faces some pressure.

Have any of you used money bookers, bank wire, or solid pay?

My first forum contribution turned out to be longer than I had really liked it to be.

it's the same issue at WSEX also. I was told by a wsex representative that the best method for US players is Solid Pay. When I asked about Moneybookers I was told it was not available to US players.

anything wrong with getting a check mailed to you? I know matchbook and many other books offer this. Will banks not process checks from these companies? And if so, can I not go to another country and get it processed somehow?

Honor the check I deposited today from Pinnacle?

This is getting pretty f*cking stupid....the gubberment can rape and pillage the world, its people, resources, now they want to screw with gambling? What goes next? Freedom of speech? Spy on your neighbor? Secret thought police?

Pretty sad commentary, somewhere in Hell, Hitler is looking at the USA and its non-opposing populace, and cracking a broad smile.........:sadwave:

Thank you all for contributing to this questions. The more I read, the tougher I think its going to be to join and fund a new "MATCHBOOK ACCOUNT." If you take away Solid Pay and Bookmarkers........than a wire transfer from your bank account is the only way I see this thing happening. I do wonder if the bank will even allow me to do it and if so, I wonder "what if" they discontinue the wire's and I have a ton of money over there........how will I get it back??

It sure is depressing to see our "freedom" or what?? "Our Freedom" be taken away from doing something many of us like to do.

I had heard sending money via cashiers check via federal express was an option with Pinnacle (REmember Them).....but its not an option with MATCHBOOK!

Yes..............times are a'changing....but I do believe that since there are thousands......of players out there who want online gambling.........that it will be back..............and yes.....even for us here in the U.S.

We should keep pursing the idea of using this so-called MATCHBOOK EXCHANGE..............maybe this will indeed be a way around the internet gambling bill......................but how will we fund and withdraw from them??

Time will tell..........
Thanks All...........

I just spoke with them and all they have available is bank check! I got quite a bit of money in there. Should I be scared? Jack? I would like to continue to use them if I know I can trust them, but I'm tempted just to take my money and run.

Pharoah,

Sure does look like things are changing in a hurry all over the internet regarding internet gambling and processing deposits and withdrawls from sportsbooks. I had sent a couple of cashiers checks to Pinnacle when I was using them and that went rather smooth. Also, received checks back from them that I was able to deposit into my bank account with no problem. All that was a few months ago tho.

I contacted online this morning with a MATCHBOOK Rep. and yes the option to fund and withdrawl with them (for U.S Citizens) has dropped.

I think I'm going to wait a few days to see if some options become available and to see where all the sportsbooks line up and see what they allow or offer as far as funding and withdrawls for U.S. Citizens.

This is not true. They sent me a check via FedEx yesterday. I did a book to book transfer to them today as well.

Hello Bombs

After reading your post I went online and contacted a MATCHBOOK Rep and she answered my funding question again. This time the answer was different..............this time she mentioned that I could fund with Western Union and when I asked that yesterday, she said I could not. She being someone on the other end of our internet discussion.

Again, things changing by the minute.

I'm glad you mentioned you received a bank check from them. Have you received them before? Have you deposited them in your bank account before? On the check does it mention "MATCHBOOK" or is it drawn from a bank? Just wondering!!??

So before you say "NOT TRUE",,,,,,you must understand that is what I was told before I posted. Please keep the info coming......
