There's a ton of funny shows out there - too many for me to pick a favorite, but I have to admit, the one show that makes my wife and I laugh out loud the most is America's Funniest Home Videos. It's not like we plan our Sunday around it, but we seem to stumble upon it every week and end up laughing our asses off. Sure, it's a bit cheesy and the writing sucks, but like I said I just find myself laughing out loud every time I watch it. They must be doing something right - it's been on for like 20 years now!

still to this day the most revealing account of real life in the United States..

and the sad part about it is that bigot low life scum like Archie still exist today..

What a sad commentary that is in "The Land of Milk and Honey" and "The Pursuit of the American Dream"

Absolutely loved Extras too. There were only 2 seasons though, right? I doubt you'll find too many people that have seen it though. Kind of obscure. I also agree that the UK version of the office is better than the US version.

As for what's on today, it's slim pickins. Most of the sitcom writing out there is atrocious. The only two shows that I go out of my way to see are Family Guy and The Office.

Only new show I really watch is The Office. The Simpsons is my favorite show of all time, but last few years are just really bad. Family Guy is really good, so I guess I watch that too.

Most of TV sucks and has sucked for years and years, which is sad. Reality TV is pure chit.

1. Entourage--new season coming soon, I hope

2. 2 1/2 men--only show I miss since the writers have been on strike.

3. Family Guy--Stewie is the funniest character on TV, animated or not

I'd say you're a Family Guy fan with that user ID...:mj07:

in no order

1. Entourage: the agent and Turtle,
2. Extras: only two seasons but great season two is probably the best.

have not seen the office, but heard in general good comments about the show.

3. Top Gear : okay a car show, unlike most, not even a huge car freak but love the show. find it funny and actually in Extras heard a reference to (main character) about Clarkson.
not even offended when they came to Cdn. and Clarkson stated what he thought.

4. Hustle ( 3 of the shows are British).... Hustle is probably no more, and not a comedy, about a group of grifters, some shows are really well written.

Johnny Drama cracks me up just showing up in a scene....

Agreed. He's priceless. The funniest thing is that my girlfriend has a younger brother who is pretty much the epitome of Johnny Drama. And his name is Johnny too!

Chuck Liddell is lucky Drama didn't get a crack at him. It would have been curtains for The Iceman!

Seinfeld is still the best show on TV

Curb Your Enthusiasm and Entourage are the only shows that I try to watch every week (and Dexter but that isn't a comedy)

Don't watch these much but when I see them they are funny:

Scrubs
South Park
Family Guy

Bet on MyBookie
