placed the following wagers at sia, for my boy who is primed for this event.

furyk to win 50/1700
furyk to finish in the top 4 50/400

furyk to beat j. leonard - 72 holes - 330/300

not much of a golf handicapper, but with his recent form it's worth a shot. he took the week off after the win at the memorial to host his excelon invitational skins game ( along with toms/daly and kuchar). his ballstriking and putting that day were unbelievable winning 8 of 18 skins and shooting a 63 on the day, at a fairly tough course called innescrone in avondale, PA. he hit every fairway on the tight back nine with alot of blind shots and only missed one green on the back. he had only played this course twice before.

in the pre skins interview, he commented that he finally felt healthy ( after numerous injuries/illnesses the last year and a half - inner ear infection most recently). he went so far as to state that he feels he is playing the best golf of his career right now.

except for his hiccup in the third round at the buick, he had another exceptional tournament, again shooting the low round on sunday( 67) just like he did at the memorial.

the only thing that concerns me is the length of some of the par 4's at bethpage  . definately love the leonard bet.

fairways and greens!

good luck.

I had some bets on Woods, Garcia, Mickelson, K.J Choi and
Jim Furyk. (outright and match-up)
Furyk is the only disappointment.
What's wrong with him, like a flat tire..............
First day, +3 , acceptable.............
Today....+9 till hole 12.
Will miss cut, I believe
