The Clippers have been very mediocre on the road, and this is a tough spot for them as they head to Portland following last night's loss at Golden State. The Blazers have had four days off so they will no doubt be the fresher team.

Portland leads the NBA in scoring, and that's bad news for an L.A. club that allows over 99 points per game.

You want to back favorites of 3.5 to 9.5 points that average 102 ppg or more and have had a combined score of 205 points or more in 4 straight games when they are matched up with a team that allows 98-102 ppg. Doing so has produced a 45-17 ATS mark since 1996. The home team is 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings, and the favorite is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings. The Clippers are just 2-5 ATS in their last 7 meetings in Portland.

Lay the points.

Yes, I get unsolicited emails from pay guys. Sometimes they have good comp info. Just passing this along. :0corn
