Pads may or may not hold on, but at least there is no bogus bring it back to the bottom of 5 for a 4-3 Cards win had it been postponed. Been burned by that rule before and it hurts...much rather see the whole game played out.

At some point, you have to take the fans into consideration... there are in a lengthly 2nd rain delay.. .fans have been sitting out in the rain there for almost 5 hours now....

Me thinks they should call this game now - with SD winning 5-4.
