Gambling movies

I think this topic has been done before, but I can't find it.....could someone recommend some good gambling movies for a rainy day, poker prefferably (besides Rounders)...thanks

The Cinci. Kid IS the best of all time ..A classic, must have seen it 50-70 times..Rounders is great, But in 30 years The Cinc. Kid will still be remembered as 'the best'..Just my thoughts ..Spanky...

House Of Cards / Joe Montagna..........Not really a full fledged gambling movie, but intertwines a card game into a continuing con game. Very interesting movie if you can get past the horrible acting of the female lead ( Directors wife ). And don't give up after the first 30 minutes, it will all develope and you will be surprised........and a silly one... Let It Ride / Richard Dreyfus, Teri Garr

Actress was Lindsey Crouse. Kinda
thought she was stiff but I would
not go as far as saying horrible.
Still, excellent film as a whole
and Mamet's films in general.
Let it Ride, ditto on that. Many
memorable scenes.

Anyone remember that oldie from the '60's with Henry Fonda? I saw it recently on t.v.
That movie is older than me!

hows about A Bronx Tale. many gambling scenes here, dice [2 2 on the hard 4, dont get cocky kid], ponies {COME ON KRYTONITE}, Joey Mush, runnin numbers, etc....

good story, with many laughs for us "Ive done that, or been there"

Maverick w/mel gibson, and james garner. not a good movie, but cool riverboat poker tournament.
