Don't play bases much but got the side and total last night night so I thought I'd try again:

NY/FL Under 9.5

I see another 3-2 type game tonite. The weather has gotten cold here in NY, much colder tonite than Friday night. Better night for football than bases.

Yanks bats haven't show much life: MVP of BOS series was a reliever.:)

Pettite has been solid; I don't see FL getting more than a couple off of him in this must-win for the Yanks.

I like the under as well ,however I have never bought in to the "must win" theory. While it may be a must win game for the Yanks, it simply just does not make them a winner here.

It seems that money is pouring in on the Yanks based on that "must win" thinking and "they just can't lose two in a row at home " thinking.

They may well win this game but not with my money on them at this vastly over inflated price.

I'll take a unit on the Marlins here as well as a unit on the under.

Best of luck!

3 days rest

3 days rest

PETTITTE 3days --92 pitches last outing. But he may not be that bad off... his pitches may be better with an arm that's not overly strong. He throws that cut fast ball.

REDMAN 3 days --62 pitches..i saw him last year at Yankee Stadium pitching for Detoit and he basically shut them down. I was surprised Detroit let him go.

Good Luck on The Under !!!!!!!!

Marlins have another chance to squeak out another victory.

They do all the small things and are very very strong up the middle of the diamond. High quality catcher, short, second, center.

Good luck again super et al

Spang --

I agree with most of your points: no value in laying -200 or more on the Yanks but...

...in terms of "must win" what I meant was how it would affect the Total...if Yanks management sees this game as a "must win" they will pull out all stops...that as soon as they see a pitcher getting into trouble they pull him, etc. This keeps the runs down.

Plus it helps the Total if Yanks are winning after eight because that means one less AB.

Let's nail game #3.
