It underlines one of my favorite points: all that matters is the final. Betting halfs is doubling ur risk. In this case Miami covered easily but didn't take over until late. It's no less a convincing win, but at the half Indy was up by 4 and played a better first h. It's a compulsion to gamble that mesmerizes people w 1st h plays far too often. There r times when I'll play an under in the first h vs game cause the game looks close enough to b tied and force ot. Blindly playing all game plays in the first h will work against u in the long run . Congrats on the game bet on Miami. If u resisted the compulsion to play them first h, u won money.

I totally agree. But, he wasn't suggesting any bets on halves in this game from what I understand. His comment of over by HT was his prediction of this game being dominated by MIA all 4 qrts IMO. I just think he thought this would be a blowout from start to finish with that comment. Obviously didn't go like that, but I didn't see any suggestion from him to bet the 1st half. He also started another thread with his Heat game bet -6.

Thanks HUD! People know me well enough I will post a half bet if I'm playing it.
I did expect Miami to show some force from the tip.
They imposed their will from the 6 min of the 3rd Q ON.
I have my team pegged. Whether I post or not.
If I post I'm only trying to help others win. Where people
Bet opposite sides there will always be haters.
