Tonight...

Man, I just don't think Cleveland is a good team. At all. They play shitty D, and their offense is a mess when Kyrie isn't bringing that extra threat. Bulls were pathetic on O for long stretches themselves. If Thibs can game coach at all, he will make some adjustments and open up that offense. Dunleavy/Mirotic the keys for me in this offense. If they can't get that spacing from those guys on the outside, they tend to clog up. DRose needs to play smarter on O, if he's capable of that. He's been making way too many bad decisions (forced shots, jump passes, etc.). I think Mirotic should get a lot of run early, and see if he can show up.

I will take to my grave that the Bulls are the better team. Yeah, that loss hurt, but it definitely won't devastate this team. 6 is just way too many points for any game in this series. Pau or no Pau.

Of course, the Cavs have Lebron... so he can impose his will at any point and Cavs can run away. I don't think it's likely.

Bulls +6/3/ML

The gross thing about this series, is that i LOVED the Clips to crush the Rockets. Just like I liked Clips to dethrone the champs, I thought they were good enough to dismantle a horrible, disoriented, heartless, poorly coached Rockets team. Then CP3 went down and I drooled over fading Austin Rivers, Hedo, and Crawford getting serious run. Of course, the Rockets blew both games. I got game 3, but then had the crazy notion that Harden actually had a "I am going to win one by myself" mentality.

But, fuck my life, here I am backing the Rockets with their backs against the wall. I believe if they can get hot for a half, they may have enough to hold on and extend the series a game. I'm probably wrong.

Rockets +3/1.5/ML

I kinda agree. The bills probably have the better all around team but the cavs have the two best players on the court and I just don't see cle dropping 2 of 3 to the bulls at home. Krause was such a POS I feel like he's jinxed this franchise

My thoughts about tonight (purely from a Bulls fan):

- Lebron will get his but let him chuck from the outside esp behind the arc (6-38 or something in playoffs). If he drives the lane, he's just gonna bully his way in & probably get the calls.
- As much as we can let Lebron settle from the outside, we need to defend the 3 much better. Jones, Dellavadova, Smith, & Shumpert all firing away.
- Thompson has impressed me with his energy & rebounding ability. Whether it's him, Mozgov, or someone else, we can't give them 2nd or 3rd chance points.
- Hinbrick can't play. He gives nothing on offense (basically playing 4 on 5 or 3 on 5 if Joakim is out there too) & has gotten beat on defense too (even though that's his forte ... maybe 3 years ago it was).
- Mirotic (on offense, as his D has been terrible), Dunleavy, & Brooks - all are very capable shooters so at least 1 of them needs to have a great game. Ideally, we can get 40+ among them.
- Pau being out again hurts. He's the only low-post presence we have & he really frees things up w/his pick 'n pop ability.
- Bulls need to be much more aggressive on offense instead of settling for jumpers esp when they go through their droughts (1 or 2 droughts/game is pretty much a guarantee). Free throws will help the offense. On the same token, I can't imagine Cavs continue to shoot so well from line although props to the Cavs for knocking them down.
- I would think it's a tight game so we need to limit the TO's. With scoring droughts, we can't have any more empty possessions.
- Bulls need a fast start & forget about Game 4. Falling behind big in Game 2 was just too much to overcome.

I sure hope the Bulls can pull it out but you never know what team is going to show up. They are such a schizophrenic team & are extremely frustrating to root for. Go Bulls!
