I normally follow guys like Willie and Raymond for their thoughts and picks but I think I need to give a little back in this case. I am sure some of you are already aware of this but the truck carrying Minnesota's equipment on friday went up in flames. EVERYTHING was burnt from sticks to goalie equipment. It was so bad the NHL was looking at postponing the game. New equipment and practice gear was to be shipped into Ottawa early today but some equipment needed to be collected from various hockey suppliers.
As bad as Ottawa is playing right now and although the Wild have points in 7 of their last 9, I would not want to be throwing on new skates, or better yet barely broken in goalie gear.
