Its all about motivation, look at the three games Saturday. New England needed to win to lock up home field throughout the playoffs, playing a team that had nothing but pride on the line and the Pats won easy. Game 2 Seattle needed to win to make the playoffs, going against a team that again had nothing but pride on the line, the Hawks won. Game 3 Philly needed to win to lock up the division title and stay alive for the home field advantage throughout the playoffs, as I write this they are winning handily.

My point is...

Due to Seattles win at San Fran the Packers have to win to make the playoffs, period. Combine that with playing at home and you have a solid play already. The kicker here is that Denver is already locked into their playoff spot and has absolutely nothing to play for. I would be suprised to see their key players line up in the second half.

I can't see Farve and Green Bay losing at home when they need to win to make the playoffs, especially playing a team that has no motivation to win and will be resting players for next week.

Here the catch (and why you may want to reconsider your GOY status):

If Dallas loses and the Packers and Vikings win, GB does not make the playoffs, unfair as that may seem. Dallas plays early and the line has already gone from -2 to pk! Dallas does not need the game, and if I was Bill Parcells, I would rather take my chances against Seattle than Brett Favre and the Packers!

The Vikings are not going to lose to Arizona, so if Dallas loses, the Packers may not be motivated enough to cover the generous line.

Just the thoughts of a pessimistic Packer fan. I sure hope this scenario doesn't play out.:(

these are the scenarios for the packers tomorrow

Green Bay Packers (9-6): Can clinch the division title with a win vs. Denver AND a Minnesota loss at Arizona.

? Can clinch a playoff berth with a win vs. Denver AND a Dallas win or tie at New Orleans.

? Can earn the No. 4 or 6 seed or miss the playoffs.

Green Bay needs a win and a Minnesota loss to win the division.

In order for GB to get a wild card, now that Seattle has already won, Dallas must win. If Dallas loses, and Minnesota wins, GB is out whether they win or not! This is because GB is out in the three-way tie breaker among Dallas, Seattle and GB. If Dallas wins, GB wins the two-way tie-breaker with Seattle because GB beat the Seahawks.

Therefore, if Dallas loses early, and Minnesota having what should be an easy game against an unmotivated Arizona team, maybe the Pack will be a little disheartened.

The GOY bet might be New Orleans, since Parcells may very well lay down in order to eliminate Favre and the Packers and take his chance with Seattle if they have to play each other.

Minnesota plays at 3:00, just like Green Bay. It doesn't matter if Dallas wins or loses cause if the Vikings lose and the Packers win, they are in for sure. And they won't know if Minnesota won or lost untill they are done playing their own game.

Bottom line:
Green Bay is extremely motivated and playing at home, Denver is not motivated at all and said they are going to rest players.
