i just aint buying that Spurrier wasn't the REAL offensive coordinator of the Gators for the last few years. Ed might have been in charge in practice, but I would bet that Spurrier called the majority of plays on Saturday afternoons. I was really surprised to see him be named HC...
Neem- Zook is the new head coach. Spurrier called every play on the offensive side of the ball. Ed was the offensive coordinator at Marshall. He groomed Pennington and this new stud they had this year.....can't recall his name but he is a stud. This new offensive coordinator is just what we needed. I see no reason for Grossman to want to transfer with his style of ball. I personally would rather have a defensive minded head coach with a super offensive coordinator, I think that is the ideal blend....but what do I know. I do know I feel much better today than I did when we first named Zook head coach!!
