Looks like the books are gonna crush some more Packer backers at halftime tonight!

GB was handed those seven points to finish the half by the officials and some lucky calls. . . what else have they done??? Absolutely nothing!

Not sure of the line yet, but I will very likely be all over the Jags here. . .

Football is a game of two halves. How many times have we seen a team dominate one half then get crushed the second half? It would be foolish to count GB out now, especially since they need this game to keep up with Chicago.

hey nickelback I'm a friend of COBRA, i hope i talked you out of that favre prop bet. I took the jags, look for more domination, in my opinion as i posted the most overated team GB, and player Favre in the league. Jags will move the ball all day against this secondary, if Mike Mcmahon could who can't.

Bains,

Yeah, you and Nolan helped me decide to stay away from that bet. . . however, I still believe GB could have more passing yards by the end of the game now that GB is behind and the Jags may run the ball late if they have a decent lead.

Love the Jags in the 2nd half. . . everyone and their mom will be thinking that GB is gonna come back and steal this one. . . not me!

Code Red,

I am banking on the fact that others are thinking just like you in that things will change in the 2nd half. I don't buy it. GB looked sluggish to me. Jags look like they want to win this game to me.

A stat popped up Gb was i believe 0-38 when trailing on the road. Something to remember this Gb team gave up 50 points the last 2 games, and play the worst zone defense in the NFL. If gb wants to win it's simple the Jags have no running game, all he has to do is double Jimmy smith with a safety and play cover 2 defense on Mcardel. Without a running game the pass should be able to be defended. Sherman is very questionable with his decisions so I think the Jags will win the 2nd half.

Like I said, sluggish one half, awakening giant the next. I've seen it happen too many times, but hey, I'm not about to say I told you so

Bluegrass!
i KNEW we were mince meat after this thread was started. Pay attention folks, don't make predictions or brag about your team while the game is still in progress! It's the cardinal sin of gamblers! If ya don't believe it, just ask around....

Neemer,

Yeah, it was my thread that led to the three touchdowns by the Packers in the second half. . . you're so right.

And I'm sure you decided to go with the Packers in the 2nd half after reading this thread right?!?! Always convenient to find reasons (outside the game) as to why you lost your bet AFTER the game is over with besides the obvious fact that the Jags stunk after obtaining a 14 point lead.

Anyways, I wasn't bragging. . . I never made a bet on this game until the 2nd half. Jags completely outplayed the Pack in the 1st half. . . I was stating a fact that others indicated as well.

You are right about game being two halves...
got away from it but last year did quite well
betting second half in certain situations
#1 if the big favorite was way behind at half-time,barring injury they come roaring
back as opponent becomes conservative...
#2 totals..if game has big total and is like
one forth of it or less at halftime barring injury just bet over...same if almost game
total achieved in first half...just bet under...

Games tend to come close in many cases to the
openning numbers...think about all the games
you have won or lost by the hook or one or two..
