How is this STAT

In Detroits last 71 losses they are 3-65-3 ATS. I easily see the Pack winning stright up therefore looks like a SOLID PLAY!!!!!

Usualyy a 1 unit player will play GB -5- for 5units.

i agree at first glance gb looks like a solid choice but the line seems a little low...that scares me a little. with gb's success at home, a healthy farve, det's history of crappy grass play, seems like the line should be a little higher. det is moving to a new west coast offense, that should be a big factor. rivalry is also a factor. if i had to pick i'd go with gb, but i think i'm laying off that one, good luck

you must be careful when you play with stats:

1. in detroit's losses. you are assuming they will lose.

2. what about in gb's wins? how have they covered against the spread?

3. head to head, both at home and away. how do they fare? this is more meaningful. last time gb beat detroit soundly at home, but then there were reasons, as mentioned in other threads. what about before that?

i seem to remember not too long ago, gb could not buy a ats win for nothing, and together with their losses, they became everyone's favorite go against team. what has changed, except for their little meaningless "rush" late last year, which included the detroit game and produced some ats and actual wins?

the new, improved gb? hardly.
the old rivarly stands, the race for the playoffs in on, and it will be an eye for an eye; who has the last word, we shall find out.
