Our current planetary status isn't affecting me as adversely as many. The concern that's juggling my marbles is the over-arching anxiety that this current situation presents; this likely holds for most people, as while the end of this seems inevitable it certainly does not appear imminent.
I just spotted this line, available at my friendly neighborhood bookstore:
MLB
Reg. Season Game Played by July 1, 2020 +127
NO Reg. Season Game by July 1, 2020 -170
Swell.
I presume that these guys (Pinnacle) need to gather as much information as they can in order to assess the near future of their business, so I can't assess this line as being out to lunch. July is an eternity away, by at least some of my cognitive metrics.
I won't bother bantering on about my assessment of anything as my confidence regarding accuracy is slim. My emotional state is riding the rollercoaster with stages of anger and boredom needing to be traversed carefully.
That July 1st date, above, is just more fuel for increased anxiety. We have baseball every spring ALWAYS rocking by April at the latest. Now, I am left to conceive the possibility that such appears unlikely; no baseball for at least April, May and June?!
I am sure we can all survive that. I'm just not sure what other monkey-wrenches are going to be thrown at our state of living between now and the closing of this posted line.
My hope is that those citizens of the world who need to improve keeping things in perspective, and not taking things for granted, will benefit from this adversity.
Hopefully everyone here is staying healthy and sane. Same for your friends and family.
