Watching Nate on 16 was painful but he is on my watch list. Berger's play on 18 was simply perfect. A lot of plays this week but some are at reduced price. DJ is my One * Done this week, just can't back him this low. Maybe he will be 5 or 6 back.

- - I have been very pleased with the efforts of all four of my recent in-running plays at 66/1, 100/1, 66/1 and 150/1. While overdue for a few clunkers, this is not the time to give up trying, and the mix of elite players on the leaderboard does not suggest any clear outcomes to me . . . Went with theses plays over Bradley(1000/1), Finau(33/1) and Fitzpatrick(50/1) e.w.

I think most of the golf world is pulling hard for Finau to notch a win every time he plays, including me . . . But Homa is an interesting character in his own right, very easy to follow closely on social media, and as a Cal graduate has now become a regular Pro-Am partner of my "also chasing his second trophy" man, Aaron Rodgers, so in this instance, I was really happy to see Homa carry my wager across the finish line, and watch him do it with flair.
