The Georgetown Hoyas take on the 11th-ranked Syracuse Orangemen tonight in the quarter-final round of the Big East Tournament.

Syracuse are 23-4 SU and 13-10 ATS overall this season. They last played Sunday when they completed a perfect 17-0 home season in a 83-74 win over Rutgers. The Orangemen have won their last seven SU and ten of their last eleven overall.
Big East Rookie of the Year Carmelo Anthony is averaging 22 points and 10 rebounds per game this season and led his team to a 13-3 record in the Big East.

Georgetown are 15-13 SU but a poor 8-15-1 ATS overall. They have alternated wins and losses their last four and are 5-5 SU their last 10. The Hoyas went 6-10 in conference play during the regular season which was good for the fifth seed in the West. In the opening round yesterday they shot just 31% in posting an unimpressive 46-41 win over an undermanned Villanova....a game that earned the dubious honor of being the lowest scoring in Big East tournament history. Unanimous All-Big East Conference selection Mike Sweetney struggled against the Nova's compact zone defense and will need to step it up tonight.

The Orangemen won both clashes between these teams during the regular season...by 8 points at home and by 9 points on the road.

We're expecting a similar margin of victory tonight and will take the Cuse to win and cover.
