I don't understand how Georgia is favored in this game. We may be more talented, but we have noone on our roster that can defend a 7-footer. Our center, Thomas, is out for at least three more games. That leaves the tallest player at 6'8" (I think) for the Dawgs.

Does anyone have any knowledge of the rest of CUs team? Harrison will be a serious match-up problem for us, but if we are able to get him into foul trouble with our more athletic semi-big men--do they have any firepower to hold off our speed?

This game will come down to the speed of Georgia versus the size of Colorado. If Colorado plays zone (which I don't know if they do), then UGA should be able to run the show from the outside. Pelle at 6-8 is their leading rebouder, so he will probably be matched up against Jarvis Hayes. I have not seen Pelle play, but he willhave his hands full if they play man to man. Jarvis works insie outside game as good as anyone in the country.

After working through this write-up--I guess I see this game as a pass. The 7-footer definitely worries me on CUs side, but Georgia's athletic ability may be able to pull them out.

I would like to hear from someone who knows CUs team.

Good luck.

We? Our? Are you a player for the UGA basketball team? As far as the word we, if you do not play on their team, should be used in this forum as us, the guys who are looking for factual and unbiased oppinions. This is not the place for fan/ra ra/go dawgs bs

Dawgball--

Colorado returns 4 players who scored over 10 pts/game last season. Size wise, Colo's starters go 7'0, 6'9, 6'7, 6'6 and 6'2. Georgia beat them 81-73 last year but that was in Georgia. Might be a different result in the altitude of Boulder.

BUFFS ARE REALY LOOKING FORWAD TO THIS GAME--THEY HAVE GOOD DEPTH THIS YEAR AND IF WILSON CAN HIT HIS 3'S LOOK OUT--HARRISON IS LIGHTER, STRONGER ADN QUIKCEAR THIS YEAR AND PLAYING INSPIRED BB SO FAR-SHOULD BE A GOOD GAME

Superbear..since when you become the authority around here? :thefinger

Dawg....I think the altitude is enough to play the Buffs at that small number..even if Georgia was at full go.
