Havent really done any research on this game, but my buddy(who knows his stuff pretty well) said that Georgia -8. But i wanted to run it by yall first--what do yall think of this game? what about georgia -8? Or what about Georgia and the Moneyline -300? Or, what about the flipside, does Clemson have a chance in this game?
thanks

I like Clemson....then again my opinoin sucks when it comes to the SEC....Reason I would take Clemson and the points is because its over a key number (7)...worth a shot..

LOL I mean come on...look at Duke :p

hey dude, you dont have to bet every game tonight. if you keep this up, you wont be around for the entire season. i know i know, you are having a great day, so there is no need whatsoever to just continue making "dime" and "hundred" dollar plays if you havent done the research. not trying to sound like a total asshole here just want to make sure you dont blow your financial aid...but hey i'm no pro so whatever floats your boat, kid. i understand it's a lot more fun to watch games that you have action on. take it easy...

It's very good policy to stay away from games you know nothing about.

It's also very good policy to check your handicapping records on games you THOUGHT YOU KNEW something about.

no clue to tell you the truth, north texas returns a ton of starters but clearly dont have the talent, they will do everything possible to keep the clock running when they have the ball. i hate big spreads like this b/c in essence you could be relying on chance mock, brett robin and/or selvin young and backup o-linemen.take a look at the fsu game today, virginia keeps on throwing, while fsu puts it into cruise control, verdict: virginia covers.. also north texas strength is their secondary, which makes an int return for a td possible with simms at the gun..

a little from the statesman..
Opposing offenses' inability to beat the Mean Green deep consistently can be traced to several factors:

? North Texas plays a lot of zone defense.

? The Mean Green rarely blitzes, which lessens the chance of giving up big plays.

? The team's defensive backs are physical, sure tacklers.

"They're a bend-but-don't-break defense that keeps everything in front of them," Offensive Coordinator Gred Davis said. "Last year they didn't play a nickel defense at all, but word has it that they have some extra defensive backs now that they can put in for their nickel and dime packages."

North Texas secondary coach Gary DeLoach said it's impossible to mirror the Texas receivers because there are few athletes in the country who have similar physical attributes.

"There's nothing like that we can duplicate in practice," DeLoach said. "Roy Williams, B.J. Johnson and those others are the best assembled receiving corps I've seen. We played OU last year and they had some good receivers, but not in the class of these guys."

Last season, Oklahoma defeated North Texas 37-10 while passing for 353 yards.

The Longhorns have won all of the six meetings against North Texas, but by an average score of only 32-14. North Texas Coach Darrell Dickey is optimistic about his team's chances, but his optimism is tempered by a realization of what his defense will face.

so what does this book i just posted mean? i have no clue, UT-Longhorn.
:)
like you said, brown when given the opportunity, will run the ball the entire 4th quarter if up by 4 scores.

thanks chenker, cant wait til hockey starts up!!! just happen to read a lot of online papers, always learning more and more from most everyone here... just listened to pregame interviews with both coaches, n tex coach again stressed the bend but dont break d, so looks like a lot comes down to UT in the red zone. it's more difficult to put it in the zone when you only have about 15 yds to work with in 3 and 4 receiver sets. n tex has all 5 o linemen returning and should use several two te sets. brown concerned with run since they didnt stop it the last two games of last yr, as ut's strength is secondary also. several guys up front are getting their first looks, while they are blue chippers, they're still 19 and 20 yr olds---
