I am a part time medical examiner here (rural doctor the other part), and obviously can stand to look at this stuff from a practical point of view, in pictures and in real life, but that is not at issue here.
The big issue is WHY IS THIS ALLOWED. This must be immensely distressing to the families, and just rub salt into their grieving wounds. Making autopsy photos available in the public domain serves no useful purpose. The only outcome I can predict is a desensitizing effect on the population (kids), and extreme trauma to a family.
