Mats gone,will emotionally hurt,but the guy has NEVER had a good playoff unless you go WAY back to when he was with Quebec.. A 6 foot 5 inch baby...

Saturday, you can take the $125 and bet your ass on OTTAWA. Philly SUCK and are also done.TOO slow and some "key ,hidden injuries".

I have to disagree with you on your comments about Sundin. He was the heart of the team in last years playoffs and had Domi not thrown that elbow at Niedermier and woken up New Jersey they would have rode on the back of Sundin right to the finals.
Joseph is a great goalie and will keep them in the game and had it not been for the worst call ever by a ref trying to look good to his bosses in his first year and give a penelty shot in the last 2 min. the leafs, minus SUNDIN,REICHEL and a hobbeling Mckay would have taken these great Islanders to Overtime in their own arena.

I would not count out the same team that everyone said would go down when they lost Joseph and almost won the whole east.

For what you DIDNT READ, 4 or 5 'quality' players for this team are Hurting.They ARE NOT deep enough on the bench to beat the Isles this Series ...
Everyone knows Cujo is the best player on the Leafs, followed by the 2 way playing Gary Roberts. No way should Mats be wearing the "C".
You can win missing ONE of your top players, but they are so banged up on Both Sides of the Puck (O and D ).Good teams can get motivated when their "star" is out,but this is not a good team at this point in time-Simple. Getting +140 and will also play some UNDER @ 5 under -125 !!!! AND Ottawa +125 ,I think Flyers are in very bad "mental Condition" , alot of finger pointing,, and Ottawa is SKY HIGH and will not back down from the Flyers Bullshit !!! A small "LEAN" on the UNDER @ 4 1 /2 is also on the list of plays that should be played tonight..

The book I use has the Leafs as -155 for tonights game. I agree with you that the Isles have a legitimate shot in tonight's game. What is so strange to me is why the Leafs are still fairly high chalk favs in this game tonight? Something seems fishy to me!

O.K. the Leafs played great,good call guys..
Now I really like Roberts,he should get 3 -5 games for that 10 stride 'run' he did on Jonsson.Only a 5 min.Major??? That one is going to V.P. Colin Campbell I'll tell you that. Man,I love Roberts 2 way play BUT,That was fuching really BAD,broke his helmet,bad concussion. For a player that logs over 30 minytes a game, Jonsson didn't deserve that Cheap and Gutless hit from behimd. Speaking of GUTLESS, I know it was Peca,but you NEVER go at a players knees (in any sport) !!!!! Both those Cheap Shots could have been career ending injuries. I can tell you ,Roberts WILL get 'holidays' from the NHL -he does have a history of illegal play !!!!
So ,now we made a 'very little money tonight going 2 and 2 ( getting the 125 on Ottawa helped.
SO ,Sunday WE UNLOAD on Isles. A weak goal-tending effort hurt us quick and often,so I expect the Leafs in the box alot for their CONSTANT obstruction play. In my books we shall see a game 7 ( ya gotta love it) !!!!
Hope you Leaf guys made LOTS tonight, good call. Tough to lay -155 but when you win,it does'nt matter.Congrats on the win,'cause we are getting the Cash in game 6,and the line sure won't be that high,Let's say Isles -115. Spanky....

I do not think the hit on pecca was anything he hasn't done to many players in his career so I do not believe Tucker will get any punishment.

The hit that Roberts layed was a bad one but the player knew he was going to be hit and he kind of went down in a turtle just before the hit, so that is why it ended up as bad as it did. I think that he might get 1 game but all he got was a charging penelty during the game so that might help his cause.

The leafs have now played 2 games without all these players and have been the better team in both (except for the lousy penelty shot call) so I would not be counting them out on Sunday.

BTW since you live in Toronto I was wondering if you are an anti-Leaf fan or just seen enough through the years not to believe in this team. I am from Toronto and have been a season ticket holding Leaf fan all my life so I may be seeing things through blue and white glasses.

Moved from Montreal in1963,so I've grow up with bad hockey all my life (in Toronto). Man,there have been some laughable 'teams put out on the ice. Mats is still not the answer and since Cujo got here ,he has aged an extra 10 years,as the leafs are 'normally' outshot every night over a period of YEARS. Team not very deep,got a coach that can't make up a game sheet (HA),etc.etc.etc. Leafs won't go any farther than into the 2nd round if the Isles didn't get hurt so bad last night, They would be done after the 1st series.
Just an allround VERY AVERAGE hockey team over many years!!
