I usually don't take games early in the week but I am taking this one. May get some more of this one if the line moves in my favor.

North Texas +17.5 vs Rice

UNT finally gets a team they can play with. They have been way overmatched against K State, Tulsa, and LSU in their 1st 3 games. They actually played LSU decently considering 14 points came off special teams. With the past week off I look for UNT to be well prepared. UNT has much more upside than the Night Birds of Rice. Coach Dodge will have the Mean Green Eagles ready for this match up. Take the points with UNT Saturday and thank me later.

No way I'd trust UNT on the road. They're just a very, very bad team with no defense. I've followed all of Rice's games this year and I think they'll cover this.

You could be right on NTex, but they are a team like Longhorn says is tough to back on the road. The member Box and One usually has the inside scope on North Texas, so hopefully he will give you his thoughts.
