Get ready for a wild Wild Card Weekend at betED.comm
Jan. 3, 2007

It?s Wild Card Weekend in the NFL and betED.com has odds available for all four matchups.

The first round of the NFL playoffs kicks off Saturday with the surging Washington Redskins visiting the Seattle Seahawks in a NFC Wild Card clash. betED.com has the ?Hawks favored by 3, and the over/under at 40?.

The game is a rematch of a second-round playoff tilt on Jan. 14, 2006 ? the last time the teams faced each other ? that was won 20-10 by Seattle. The Seahawks went on to the Super Bowl, losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Overall, Washington has a slight edge head-to-head, going 4-3 SU and ATS over the past seven meetings. Washington is 4-2 SU in its past six on the road against Seattle.

The second Saturday game features the Jacksonville Jaguars taking on the Pittsburgh Steelers. betED.com has the game as a pick?em with the over/under at 39 ?.

The AFC rivals last squared off just three weeks ago, when the visiting Jaguars beat the Steelers 29-22. Jacksonville is 4-1 SU and ATS in its past five on the road against Pittsburgh.

On Sunday, the New York Giants take on the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay in a NFC Wild Card matchup, with the Bucs favored by 3 and the over/under at 39?.

The teams last met on Oct. 29, 2006, when the Giants won 17-3 as 9-point home favorites. Tampa Bay has a slight edge head-to-head, though, going 3-2 SU and ATS in the past five. And all five of those games were under the total.

In the last Wild Card game, the Tennessee Titans will be on the West Coast to face the resurgent San Diego Chargers. The Chargers are favored by 9 and the over/under is 40.

The Chargers have dominated the Titans, winning all four of the past four meetings and covering the spread each time. The teams last met a month ago, when San Diego beat the Titans 23-17 in Tennessee.
