How does everyone get cash to Vegas? I like to bring 4k-5k to Vegas for gambling, strip clubs, etc. I usually spread it around between my wallet, carry on and checked bag, but I am always afraid of it being stolen in my checked bag. How does everyone get their cash to Vegas? I was wanting to bring more this time, but I don't know the best way. Thanks for the suggestions.

I have carried as much as $15K in 2 bundles of 100's with the rubberband and one in each pocket.
You can also call the casino and wire it to the cage and they will give it to you in the increments you desire and even write a check for you to take home instead of the cash.
$5K is not too bulky to carry with you.

Airport has that new hi tech x-ray scanner, emptied my pockets of everything but my cash, took off my shoes.
Went thru scanner was stopped and asked if I had "anything" else in my pockets.....
Figured better to produce it than lie ; he took a quick cursory look and said OK....did not ask how much.
I have heard over $10k in cash MUST be declared by Fed law.

Dead, that's about what I was going to take and I'm also flying out of Tulsa. I had already thought about the x-ray scanner and I didn't know how they would handle it. I wouldn't feel comfortable throwing a roll in one of the bins, I also wouldn't feel comfortable pulling a big roll out of my pockets when they stop you after the scanner, because they will. Those scanners catch everything. I guess I will just continue to spread it around places.

These things are easy to fake now days, and lots of places don't take them.
Carrying 5k in your front pocket is no big deal. Once you check in, put a bundle in the room safe, and just carry the $2-300 you feel cozy with.

I just don't see why you think it is a big deal to walk from the plane to a taxi with some cash in your pocket?
