I was at Walgreens heading to the counter with 1 item. I'm in a hurry. Lady with 20 items or so beats me to the counter. Now she pulls the coupons out. Am I the only one that gets annoyed here?

Now, she has a 4-pack of Kleenex and the register does not recognize the discount. We have a beef. She's not accepting that the Kleenex are not on sale so the girl has to call the manager. xstop That's not all.

Now we finally get all that cleared up but the whole time the cashier is hitting the register screen hard with her fingernail. TAP - TAP - TAP - TAP - TAP - TAP.

I'm finally getting over it. This post helps.

What's most irritating to me is that she didn't have the manners to turn around and look to see you only had 1 item and do the courteous thing and let you go. I will say in NC people still have great manners and will do this regularly.

I'll be fair to the old bat (prolly younger than me :mj07: but not by much). Her transactions were already in process by the time I got there. Still!
