Have a good buddy that is VP of Turner broadcasting that just throws it out, "want to play golf sometime?" then he drops the news that he can play anytime at East Lake and it cost nothing but caddy tips of 80 per man. I let him know I have some guys on a site that appreciate the game a lot, and he said get a couple sometime after the Tour Championship in 3 weeks to play. Will post some pics from tomorrow and throwing it out to Gmroz, betone, and joker (or others). Will have about a two week advance notice is what he said. Enjoy your weekend Gents.

How was the golf course? Must be in pristine condition with the FedEx Championship coming up.

Actually was awesome and have some cool videos that I need to figure how to put on, but joker said may need to do a different way. Figuring it out. He has them. Caddies were so helpful and knowledgeable. One of ours had Jordan Speith pull him aside for a complete day including meals to detail every single green with him. He was a 22 year vet caddy, that my sponsor uses every time he plays. Other guy was 20 years. They work together every single day of the 40 weeks the course is open annually. Rough was amazing, but not fun when in it. Played from the blues, and 12 of them were close (less than 25 yards) to where the big boys hit from. Other six tees were 50-75 yards further. Crazy. Had 3 birdies (including number 1, which was an adrenaline rush), 5 pars, 5 bogies, and 5 "others". To be exact, had to pick up twice because just sucked those holes and had to keep moving, and could not get out of rough. Also 2 doubles and 1 triple on par five with a four putt. So no true score could be recorded, but who cares, just remember the good holes anyway.

Thanks for sharing Chuck! You had fun and played an awesome course... had a few birdies and enjoyed the moment. That is really the essence of the game, I am jealous in a good way, good for you man :0008

On the course!
So Whinerguy says he now has the vids and will share them with yyz.

All I wanted to see was a picture of him on the course with friends next to a east lake sign.

Not saying I dont trust whinerguy or yyz for that matter.

Question - So will Whats and jas get to play at East Lake with your good friend invite ?

Its a two part question.

I'll ask again. when are you going to post photos of your recent trip out west? Fair is fair.
