Outright plays (1.5pts):

Pat Hurst to win 16/1 e.w. @ Stan James
In a very weak field, Hurst is certainly one of the headline players. She comes into this event off a 7th place finish in the U.S. Women's Open, her fourth top-10 finish in eight weeks, and her record in this event is good. She lost to Dorothy Delasin in a playoff in 2000 when Avalon Lakes was used for the last time and she has had solid finishes in the three years that Squaw Creek has hosted this event. It has been a few years since her last Tour win, but this week represents a very good opportunity.

Tammie Green to win 40/1 e.w. @ Stan James, Bet365, BetInternet and SIA
Green's record in this event is even better. She won twice (1994 and 1997) at the old venue and finished 2nd and 5th in 2001 and 2002 at this one. Having played her best golf of the year to finish 6th and 14th in her last two starts, this should be another year in which she features in this event.

Brandie Burton to win 50/1 e.w. @ SkyBet
Burton had a great chance to win this event in 1997, but a final round 76 saw her lose the overnight lead and finish 4th. Not quite the same success on this course, but she is still capable of winning these less-than-stellar events. Like Green, she has shown her best form of the season recently - she finished 4th in the Wegmans Rochester LPGA - and this will look a decent price if she can retain some of that form.

54-hole matchup plays:

Donna Andrews to beat Heather Daly-Donofrio -120 @ Five Dimes [4.5pts]
On paper this is a mismatch. Andrews has finished ahead of Daly-Donofrio in 14 of their last 16 common events and finished ahead of her on both occasions that Daly-Donofrio has played on this course. With a lot of attention on Royal Troon, I'll gladly take these odds on this matchup in a much less-publicised event.

Leta Lindley to beat Michelle Estill -115 @ Five Dimes [4.5pts]
And this one is even more amazing! You need to go back to August 2002 for the last time that Estill finished ahead of Lindley in an event and that was by a single stroke. So in their last 21 common events, Lindley has a 20-0-1 h2h record. Should matter little that Estill finished behind Lindley on her only previous outing on this course. Another mismatch!

Rachel Teske to beat Gloria Park -111 @ Stan James [3pts]
It has been a disappointing season for Teske, but there were signs of an improvement in form with two top-15 finishes in her last two starts, including the U.S. Women's Open and she is the defending champion. Park has a best finish of 32nd in three attempts at Squaw Creek, trails Teske 4-8-0 h2h this season and must surely suffer from fatigue as this is her 12th consecutive week of tournament golf.

Clive I really miss the site you used to have just for these little not commonly known tidbits.
When you have time if you would maybe you could forward some links to me where you get your data, but somehow I think you might pick bits and pieces from several sources as I am aware of numerous publications you research on these gals.
Did you ever consider reopening your old site :)

Outrights - FINAL RESULT: 0-3; -4.50pts

Hurst mc
Green 11th
Burton 36th

Would have been a good result if Green had worked out how to play the back-nine. She was 9-under-par for the front-nine and 7-over-par for the back-nine. Reached as high as 2nd place by the middle of her 2nd round.

Matchups - FINAL RESULT: 2-1-0; +5.67pts

Andrews/Daly-Donofrio WON by 2
Lindley/Estill WON by 2
Teske/Park LOST by 7

A good profit on the plays, but was made to sweat for it. The two triple-plays were very close all week and so it was rather fortunate to win them both.
