The 50/1 M Mckay at bet365 looks big for a player with five recent finishes of 7-6-19-41-2. Last weeks 7th place included 68-65 at the weekend. Missed cut here last year but the price was just too tempting for me when only 28 Hills & 25 Surrey.

agreed b'mad, however that persapaciousssss chap Ian posted her at 80/1 earlier at Centrebet.

Interesting to hear any Aussie comments on Centrebet? They have a reputation of being fearless...into the dragon's lair etc and they do claim to lay some lumpy bets but they trim almost immediately...wouldn't have thought many got the 80/1...was 60 last I looked....

You can have the last laugh b'mad when she finishes fifth!

Most of the form here is ancient but it does point to a couple of veterans...although I have to admit to preferring the likes of Koch, Gulbis and McGill, it's important to concentrate on the golf!

Danielle Ammacapane is a 7 time winner on tour and has form here from the early 90s as well as last year...she stromed through the field on Sunday to post a top ten, and akready has a 2nd to her name after returning from maternity in 01. I had some 60/1 on Tues, 50 is still available but the best five place price is only 40.

Beth Daniel took some time to convinve me of her worth this year, but she has certainly been impressive and although a repeat of her halcyon days of the late 80's may be beyond her, I still think she can win again..betabet were 50

Heather Bowie...got a little jumpy when given the chance to win on Sunday, but played well here last year.. Hills have trimmed from 100 to 66, 80 best 5 place price

Outright plays (1.5 units):

Mi Hyun Kim to win 16/1 e.w. @ Five Dimes (.75 units to win & .75 units to finish in top-5)
Side-stepping Pak and Webb who will both be playing their seventh event in eight weeks and siding with Kim who has been playing very consistently this season and has two runners-up finishes in the last month. Gained some valuable course experience last year with a top-10 finish.

Beth Daniel to win 40/1 e.w. @ Five Dimes (.75 units to win & .75 units to finish in top-5)
Daniel didn't play last year, but has been in excellent form. Her 34th place finish last week was only the second time this season that she has finished outside the top-25 and she has performed particularly well in this year's major championships. Looks a good price for such a consistent player.

Michele Redman to win 50/1 e.w. @ Five Dimes (.75 units to win & .75 units to finish in top-5)
Another extremely consistent player. She hasn't missed a cut since the Women's British Open in August 2001 and had a particularly good run of form just over a month ago. Failed to build on her 5th place after 3 rounds in the U.S. Women's Open two weeks ago, but rested last week and should at least match her top-15 finish last year.

Matchup plays (1.5 units unless stated):

Beth Daniel to beat Dorothy Delasin -111 @ BetandWin [3 units]
Delasin is obviously the event specialist. She won this title two years ago at Avalon Lakes and defended her title last her at this course, but on both occasions she had been in a good vein of form. She is not at the moment - she has recorded just one top-10 finish this season and that was four months ago. Daniel is playing much better and won the inaugural event back in 1990.

Mhairi McKay to beat Gloria Park -111 @ BetandWin
Another very consistent season from McKay. From 16 starts this year, she has finished in the top-25 13 times and has recorded top-10 finishes in her last two events, including the U.S. Women's Open. Park's form has improved recently, but she can't reach that level of golf. McKay leads 5-2 in head-to-heads over the past three months.
