GIANTS/METS Over 8.5 +100 - Brett Tomko continues to get lit up for the Giants, as he now has a 7.57 ERA with a horrible 1.72 ratio, and he has recorded just 1 Quality Start out of 5 starts this season. He has not been terribly effective vs. the Mets either, posting a 5.51 ERA with a 1.53 ratio in his last 6 starts against them while allowing an alarming 41 hits in 32.2 innings. Granted, Trachsel has pitched very well for the Mets, but he may be facing a Giants offense that is just now starting to fulfill its potential. After struggling offensively for the entire month of April, San Francisco suddenly exploded for 27 runs in their 3-game series with the Marlins this past weekend. This club is much better offensively than it had shown, and I feel that the Florida series marked the beginning of a torrid run.
