Give me one good reason why.

Thanks to the $1.9 trillion dollar bill passed Saturday by Senate Democrats, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Boston Marathon bomber, a resident of The Supermax prison in Colorado, will receive a stimulus check of $1,400.

Were you mad when he got a check with Trump's signature on it?

The importance of acting fast to help people is more important than taking the time to weed out some scumbags.

Gee, we can count votes accurately but can't weed out what should be ineligible criminals. With a bill of 683 pages certainly Trump's mistakes of gifting these felons could have been reversed.

That was my guess, but that's not it. I looked it up and apparently prisoners can legally apply for the stimulus payments.

a federal judge last year paved the way for prisoners to get checks, after she blocked the Internal Revenue Service from implementing rules that would have blocked payments to incarcerated people. The stimulus bills have excluded some people: nonresident aliens, an estate or trust and people who are dependents on someone else?s tax return. But the law did not exclude payments to incarcerated individuals, so the judge said the IRS could not rewrite the law on its own after it had already issued payments to people in prison.

I don't think anyone's going to disagree but they still have to work within the current laws, which is why someone of these assholes are eligible to apply for funding.

"they?" Are you referring to everyone like you, me, Skunknik, Cricket, JT,
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, et al,,,,,,,,,,,,mostly everyone other than law enforcement, judges and politicians at the local, state and federal level who seem to enjoy a set of laws far more lenient and forgiving than the "current laws" imposed on the rest of society?

For some strange reason, the words "double standard" don't seem to register with you.

They, as in the people in the government that are tasked with distributing stimulus funds.

Who, other than the very rich and the church, is enjoying a set of laws "far more lenient and forgiving than the current laws imposed on the rest of society"? Don't you ever get tired of searching out news that confirms you're getting screwed?
