The Atlanta Hawks have acquired Glenn Robinson from the Milwaukee Bucks for Toni Kukoc, Leon Smith and a first-round pick in 2003, Jeffrey Denberg reported on Friday.

The deal has not been announced yet, but Denberg, a Atlanta Journal-Constitution writer who contributes to ESPN.com, confirmed the details.

The Hawks will announce the deal at a 6 p.m. ET news conference.

Robinson has spent his entire eight year career with the Bucks, averaging 21.1 points per game.

here in atlanta we are glad to have him. The one thing that the Hawks lacked last year is a big time small forward. Now the Hawks will have all the pieces.

Hawks give up has been Kuchoce and Leon smith a nobody.
Hawks got two number ones in 2003 draft so really not giving up much. If Kruger can get Robinson head right , Hawks may finally make the playoffs this year and get past round 1.

They get a young kid point guard in draft who will make them better also.

We think Mil got short end of the deal.
