it seems like every single time, for the last two or three years, the line for this game is the exact same.
when the game is in utah, its utah (-6)
when the game is in vegas, its utah (-1.5) or (-2)
neutral court tonight and utah is (-3)
tough call. this is always a difficult matchup to cap because its a matter of who can force their tempo on the other team. unlv cant win a halfcourt game and utah cant win a transition game.
unlv absolutely annihilated utah in the semifinals last year (64-41) by getting utah to run with them.
but when the games are in the halfcourt, it seems utah just always seem to have a comfortable 4-6 point lead the entire game.
i think this is the hardest game of the entire day. this is truly one of those "wait until halftime" kind of games to see who is controlling the tempo. otherwise, its a guess.
both teams are capable of 10 point wins
gun to my head, i would say vegas. they seem re-energized under the little spoonhour. but the way the chalks are covering today- who knows.
