Hey guys, Happy Thanksgiving! I hope to have a lucritive one also,Today in the NFL,in my opinion, I see 4 teams all going nowhere fast. I don't feel any are going to make playoffs.I know some are going to disagree, but none have shown me they are capable of winning consistantly all year.So here's my take.I think todays games all come down to who is motivated,(or more important, not motivated to play today). I don't think the Patriots can be real excited about going to Detroit to play the Lions. A short week, combined by the fact , this will be there 4th road game out of the last five weeks on the road. Can you say defending Superbowl schedule? Can you say HOMESICK for the holidays? On the other hand Detroit, has that home cooking, and I think more to play for. There Coach. I know all about the bone head call to kick the ball, and play defense first, in overtime last week.but considering the Chicago offense,I for one would have done the same thing.I think the most important thing is, it showed his defense he had total confidence in them. NFL players love to play for a coach who believes in them. I think they will play hard today and I love them +6.
In the Dallas/Wash. game. I see a different kind of situation. Washington wants to win this game. They have been beaten by the cowboys consistantly the past few years.I know some people love the dallas defense. I Don't. I have watched alot of there games this year and my take is ,most teams have played very conservative on offense, knowing it wasn't going to take alot of points to win. With the Dallas offense, Can you blame them?I am not sold on the new QB either.Yeah he looked good last week against Jax, but who hasn't.I do think Washington has the better defense.I also know that Steve Spurrier is a winner and a competetor, and I think he will outcoach GUMBY for the boys.Look for washington to move the ball, with short passes and a solid running game.Something else to think about. Everyone talks about Dallas at home on Turkey day. Well the oddsmakers know there record, and reputation also. Why are they giving points? I think to bait the public. Look for Washington to scalp the boys today. Wash-1
