Thrash after catching the TD pass said God spoke to him hmmm...and only to you???..I hate when players say God was with me and led me to the TD or led me in hitting a home run....Soooooo God wasnt with the Def. Bk or the opposing Pitcher??? How our UR prayers contributed to and not the oppsing player??? I dont mean to bring religion in on this guys but damn this drives me nuts...You made the play Trash, not God...

Bluegrass!
If the man upstairs is involving himself in NFL games, I think we're all in a tad bit of trouble...

God is involved in everything, no matter how small. He cares about all our daily struggles, hurt, pain as well as our triumphs.....

We are all created in His image and when athletes train and compete with everything they have, yes it is an honor to Him and they are just giving Him the glory which they receive. Nothing wrong with that and everything right with it. God presents Himself to those who seek Him with all their heart and by athletes honoring Him with their lives and victories, hopefully it will encourage more of us to seek Him out.....

Here we go again Freeze....Understand this...I believe in God and pray everyday but.....when I hit a homerun I could never say..God helped me hit this homerun...how can I?? Did he not want to help the pitcher...and whos to say this pitcher was praying everyday as well..why wouldnt God help me and not him....God didnt throw the pitch for him nor did God swing the bat for me...we did it...all we can do is ask for guidance not for him to give it to us becuase we believe more...is my point clear??when a reciever makes a TD in the endzone to win the superbowl...dont say God was with me and helped me make this catch...ohhh so he wasnt with the def bk defending U but since U R more of a believer I helped ya catch it...noway...its U who put in the work and make ur self what UR...athletes say well then God was with me...and ur point is...hes with ass of us....I didnt want to get into religion but understand my point...what I do on this earth is by my own choosing..can I ask for guidance...YES..but dont say God led me to catch that winning T.D.....and then the Def Bk must be wondering Hmm wonder why God wasnt with me I pray everyday...and if this was so true...then why dont the christian schools beat everyones butt in all sports...isnt God on their side since they pray so much and Priase every word during all classes and b 4 games???....My point ot make one last time is...we make our own decisions...and I have never heard a wide reciever drop a pass and say...God made me drop it....oh pleaseeeeeeee...Can I get an amen in the HOUSE????????????

I also believe in god, but TD Jesus has not been said very often this year. Are we to believe God is upset with N.D. this year?

Thrash was deflecting the glory and giving it to the true and living God,we are dead without Jesus Christ who is the only way to the kingdom of Heaven,Thrash may be putting Jesus ahead of himself and gets strength through Jesus his Lord and personal savior, not that the Db isnt a Christian, but Thrash is giving glory to God.

Some get upset at people giving credit to God,maybe because they feel excluded in some way,but we are all welcome to give our hearts over to Jesus.
