After reviewing yesterdays action, it is clear that Ball St stands alone as the Class of the Mac this season.

Now time to separate the contenders from the pretenders.

Ball St. Stands alone as the true class of this league. The team is loaded inside and out, and has no weaknesses. They are an outstanding team, and well coached to boot.

OU. Has the talent to play with most anybody on a good night. Hunter has NBA potential and can carry the Bobcats on his back.

BG, is nicely balanced and has a great home court advantage and should be able to defeat most Mac teams. Nice guard combo will be key to their hopes.

Central Mich. Has a nice team , but I think Webber is much overrated and often hurts the team more than he helps them. He often passes up great assist chances in favor of tossing up a brick. Still they are to be respected.

Kent St. Loss of coach Waters has had a huge negative impact on the the Flashes. Huffman has complained openly to the press about the new system , and the results are now being felt. Flashes also have serious lack of an inside game and depth.

Mashall. The herd has talent and a couple of real studs, but are poorly coached by Greg White and have no depth at all.

Miami has little talent, but are very well coached and are capable of springing an upset at any time.

Buffalo, yes Buffalo is very much improved and could surprise many on their home floor.

The rest will plod along as usual and have little impact on the MAC this season.

best of luck to all.
